Terms of Service

By booking a cleaning service through maidless.ca or by using any Maidless service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These terms apply to all customers, including residential and commercial clients, in British Columbia, Canada.

Maidless Janitorial Services Inc. connects homeowners and businesses with vetted, independent cleaning professionals. We provide residential cleaning services (Standard, Deep, Move In/Out, Recurring), as well as Airbnb, Senior Home, Commercial, Real Estate, and Post-Construction cleaning across British Columbia.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including if a property is deemed unsafe or hazardous for our cleaners.

• All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes.
• By confirming a booking, you authorize Maidless to charge the payment method you provide.
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your card is charged at the time of booking confirmation.
• You are responsible for ensuring your provided address and entry instructions are accurate.
• Quoted prices are estimates based on the home size and service type you provide at booking. If our cleaner arrives and the property requires significantly more work than expected due to its condition (e.g. excessive soiling, clutter, grease buildup, or undisclosed factors), Maidless reserves the right to charge an additional fee to reflect the actual scope of work. We will notify you of any adjustment before proceeding where possible.

Our full cancellation policy is available at maidless.ca/cancellation-policy. Key points:

• Free cancellation and rescheduling up to 24 hours before your appointment.
• A $50 fee applies for cancellations within 24 hours.
• A $75 lockout fee applies if our cleaner cannot access your home at the scheduled time.

All sales are final. Maidless does not offer refunds, credits, or partial refunds once a cleaning service has been confirmed and performed. By booking with Maidless, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that all charges are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: dissatisfaction with results, change of mind, disputes about scope of work, or claims that the service was not received or not as described.

By providing payment authorization at the time of booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and that the resulting charge is final and non-reversible. No refunds, credits, or re-cleans are guaranteed or implied.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a completed service constitutes a breach of these terms. Maidless reserves the right to contest any such dispute and to pursue recovery of the disputed amount and any associated fees.

If you have a concern following your clean, you are welcome to contact us at hello@maidless.ca. We will review documented concerns at our sole discretion. Contacting us does not entitle you to any monetary remedy.

• Ensure your home is reasonably accessible and safe for our cleaners.
• Secure or remove valuables, fragile items, and irreplaceable objects before the clean.
• Inform us of any pets, allergies, or hazards in your home via the Special Instructions field.
• Do not ask cleaners to perform services not included in your booking (e.g., heavy lifting, childcare, tasks outside your home).
• Do not contact or attempt to hire Maidless cleaners independently — direct solicitation voids your guarantee and may result in suspension of service.

Maidless carries $5M in general liability insurance. If you believe your property has been damaged by a Maidless cleaner, report it to us within 24 hours. Claims reported after 24 hours may not be eligible for coverage.

We are not liable for damage resulting from: pre-existing conditions, fragile items not disclosed before the clean, or items left in areas that were not scheduled for cleaning.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided.

All Maidless cleaners have passed a criminal background check, identity verification, and in-person interview. However, Maidless does not employ cleaners directly — they are independent service professionals. While we hold them to rigorous standards, Maidless is not liable for the independent actions of individual cleaners beyond the scope of the booked service.

You may not use our website or services to:

• Submit false or fraudulent bookings.
• Harass, threaten, or mistreat our cleaners or staff.
• Attempt to circumvent our pricing or payment systems.
• Resell or redistribute our services without prior written consent.

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
