Get a confirmation email + invoice

You'll receive a booking confirmation and official invoice at the email you provided. This includes your appointment date, time, service summary, estimated duration, your cleaner count, and your exact price with GST.

A few hours before — quick prep

You don't need to clean before we arrive, but a quick tidy helps us focus on the deep cleaning rather than picking up. Secure or put away valuables, fragile items, and any important paperwork.

Tip: Not sure if you need to be home? Most clients aren't — just leave entry instructions and come back to a clean space.

Your cleaner arrives on time

Your Maidless cleaner arrives within the scheduled window with all supplies and equipment. They're background-checked, verified, and know your home from the booking details and instructions you provided.

Tip: If you won't be home, leave entry instructions (lockbox code, concierge name, or where to find the key).

The clean happens

Your cleaner works through a 50-point checklist — every surface, floor, bathroom, and kitchen area is covered. For Deep Cleans and Move In/Out bookings, this also includes inside appliances, baseboards, cabinets, and more.

Tip: If you're home, feel free to point out any priority areas. Your cleaner is there to make you happy.

Once your cleaner is finished, do a quick walkthrough. We want you to be 100% satisfied — if anything was missed, let us know right away.

Do I need to be home?

No. Most clients aren't home during the clean. You can leave entry instructions (lockbox code, concierge, or key) in the Special Instructions field when you book. You'll receive a notification when the clean is complete.

Do I need to prepare anything?

You don't need to clean before we arrive — that's what we're here for. A quick tidy (putting dishes away, picking up clothes off the floor) helps us clean more efficiently, but it's not required.

What if I have pets?

Let us know in the Special Instructions. Most cleaners are comfortable with pets. If your pet is anxious around strangers, we recommend keeping them in a separate room during the clean. All our products are pet-safe.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Contact us within 24 hours. We'll send your cleaner back to re-do any missed areas at no charge. If we can't make it right, you get a full refund — 100% Happiness Guarantee.

How long will the clean take?

It depends on your home size and service type. Standard: 1 bed ~3 hrs (1 cleaner), 2 bed ~3.5 hrs (1 cleaner), 3–4 bed ~2.5 hrs (2 cleaners). Deep cleans and Move In/Out typically have 2 cleaners for 2.5–4 hrs depending on size. Your exact estimated duration and team size are always included in your confirmation email.

Should I tip my cleaner?

Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. If your cleaner did an exceptional job, a tip is a great way to show it. 100% of any tip goes directly to your cleaner.
