Whether you're moving into a brand-new condo straight from the developer or a resale unit, a professional move-in clean is a smart first step before unpacking. Both scenarios have different needs — and knowing the difference helps you book the right service.
New Build Condo vs. Resale
- New build: Needs a post-construction clean — construction dust on surfaces and inside vents, adhesive residue on windows, paint overspray on fixtures. Book this before your PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) if possible, or right after.
- Resale: A thorough deep clean — previous owner's residue in the oven and fridge, grout, and surfaces throughout. Especially important if the unit sat vacant for any period.
What a Move-In Condo Clean Covers
- Full kitchen: oven interior, fridge interior, all cabinet shelves, counters, backsplash
- Bathrooms: grout scrub, toilet inside and out, mirror, under sink
