Use this checklist before a move-out clean to ensure Ontario RTA compliance.
Kitchen
- ☐ Oven interior including door, racks, and broiler drawer
- ☐ Range hood and filter
- ☐ Stovetop and burners (removable parts cleaned)
- ☐ Fridge interior — all shelves and drawers removed and cleaned
- ☐ All cabinet and drawer interiors
- ☐ Sink, faucet, countertops, backsplash
Bathrooms (each)
- ☐ Toilet — bowl, exterior, base, seat
- ☐ Shower/tub — tile scrubbed, grout cleaned, fixtures polished
- ☐ Vanity, sink, mirror
- ☐ All cabinet interiors
- ☐ Exhaust fan cover removed and cleaned
All Rooms
- ☐ All closet interiors
- ☐ Baseboards throughout
- ☐ Window sills and tracks
- ☐ Light fixtures and ceiling fans
- ☐ Walls — spot cleaning of marks and scuffs
- ☐ All floors vacuumed and mopped
